Of course, there’s nothing like “the real deal” … but for all of us breeding nerds it’s truly wonderful to have a database like WorldFengur to do research, explore pedigrees and scores, discover interesting facts about the genetic context of horses we know or even own and so much more.
We invite you to check out all the data WF provides on Konsert and his “family”. Browse through the generations that came before him – both on his father’s and on his mother’s side (2-time Landsmót Champion Ómur frá Kvistum and 1st-Prize mare Kantata frá Hofi who has several 1st-Prize offspring in her own right) – and find out more about his own sons and daughters.
You will see at the top of the ranking that Konsert has 3 very handsome sons that have received amazingly high conformation scores over 8.70: Magni frá Stuðlum, Gandi frá Rauðalæk and Börkur frá Strandarhjáleigu. Tími frá Breiðabólsstað, a five-year-old four-gaiter bred by Elísabet Halldórsdóttir and Ólafur Flosason, received an astonishing score of 9 for tölt, trot, canter, general impression and walk plus 9.5 for gallop. We congratulate all breeders on their success with Konsert’s offspring.
In the summer of 2020 with more and more next-generation jewels getting ready to be shown under the saddle, a lot of young talent was presented successfully and this is just the beginning. Remember: Konsert became well known after his success at Landsmót 2014, so his first year with a significant number of foals was 2015. We are really looking forward to what the future will bring!
